EXP 2: Lumion Concept 2 and Early Electroliquid Aggregation

This lumion concept is developed from the combined curvilinear and rectilinear axonometric based upon Lebbeus Wood's disregard for the ground plane and SANAA's weightlessness of forms to create balance and harmony.

Woods Concept: Disregard for the ground plane
SANAA Concept: Weightlessness, achieved through an arrangement of forms that create balance and harmony

Electroliquid Aggregation: The undefined ground plane encourages exploration of the structure and surrounding landscape, to incite thought and discussion between the students of architecture.

EXP 2: 3 Combined Axonometrics

The following axonometrics have been developed from my earlier designs by pairing each axonometric based upon a Lebbeus Woods concept within one from SANAA. One shape in each pair has been changed from a rectilinear to a curvilinear shape and the space between them has been developed to create a meeting point.

EXP 1: 3 Animations of Developed Model

EXP 1: Developed Sketch Up Model

The developed Sketch Up model was based upon the second draft model created. It has been further refined in terms of shape and centring of space around the datum. The Steinway & Sons workroom is located upstairs, whilst the Heston Blumenthal kitchens are located underground. The staircases are centred around the back wall of the showroom to create a theatrical focus point where products may be unveiled.
